Terms of Use

1. Description of the service

Spensyble is a local-first personal finance utility that helps you estimate a "safe-to-spend" balance by analyzing bank statements you choose to import, or sample data you choose to try. All parsing and calculation happens on your device — Spensyble has no server that receives or stores your financial data.

Spensyble is an informational tool only. It is not a bank, financial institution, or registered investment or financial advisor, and nothing in the App constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. You are solely responsible for verifying your own account balances and financial decisions.

2. Eligibility

Spensyble is not directed at children under 13, and you must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may only use the App with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

3. Subscriptions and billing

Spensyble offers optional auto-renewing subscriptions (Annual and Monthly) that unlock full access to the App's balance-projection features. New subscribers on either plan receive a 7-day free trial. Unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, your subscription automatically renews at the price shown in the App at the time of purchase, and your Apple ID account is charged for renewal.

All payments are processed by Apple through your App Store account — Spensyble never receives or stores your payment details. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your device's Settings app under your Apple ID subscriptions.

4. Your responsibilities

You agree to use the App only for its intended purpose and not to misuse it, attempt to reverse engineer it beyond what applicable law permits, or use it in any way that violates applicable law. You are responsible for the accuracy of any statement data you choose to import, and for verifying any figures the App produces against your actual bank records before relying on them.

5. Disclaimer of warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that any calculation it produces will be accurate or complete.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Spensyble and its developers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising out of or related to your use of the App, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months preceding the claim.

7. License grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms and the App Store Terms of Service, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App for your personal, non-commercial use on any Apple-branded product that you own or control, as permitted by the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

8. Maintenance and support

We, not Apple, are solely responsible for providing any maintenance and support for the App. If you have a question, complaint, or claim about the App, contact us at the email below — Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance or support for the App.

9. Warranty claims

In the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) for the App to you. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple has no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the App, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses attributable to any failure to conform to any warranty are our sole responsibility.

10. Product claims

We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the App or your possession and/or use of the App, including but not limited to product liability claims, any claim that the App fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement, and claims arising under consumer protection or similar legislation.

11. Intellectual property

The App, including its design, text, graphics, and underlying code, is owned by us and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.

12. Legal compliance

You represent and warrant that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo, or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

13. Third-party terms of agreement

Your use of the App must comply with the terms of any third-party agreement applicable to you, such as your wireless data service agreement, and you are solely responsible for any charges from your carrier related to your use of the App.

14. Third-party beneficiary

You acknowledge and agree that Apple, and Apple's subsidiaries, are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and that, upon your acceptance of these Terms, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.

15. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App and delete it from your device at any time.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

17. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles, except as otherwise required by applicable local law.
